Douglas Martell 1960 GREEN  BIRD by Doug Martell I saw a green bird in a green tree (Extremely hard to see:  green bird, green tree) I saw him sit there thirty days (Poor bird, he had to sit so many ways:  thirty days) I saw him turn and climb a stair (Invisible affair:  merely made of air) I never saw that bird again (But then, he's hard to see:  green bird, green tree).
