The text is my Albert Kern"...At the retreat from South Russia, a pastor from Rhineland, Sergeant Pfaff, and I traveled by train from Tighina to Bessarabeasca-Reni and Glatatz to reach our unit in Braila. We left the train at Greceni and walked the short distance to Barlaceni to contact a friend of my father.   He took us to Alexanderfeld in his wagon....."
