SAD NEWS
Barbara Miller (Helwig)
"I am sad to say that Barbara Miller passed away Tuesday night at around 6:00 in the evening. Her husband Bill Helwig's uncle lives across the street from me. I saw him out last night, so I went over to ask him about Barbara. He said she was in Reno about 2 weeks ago to see her son. She was in a coma for about a day before passing away.
Her mother has been living with her in Provo Utah for a while, but will probably come back to Lodi.

Sad news tho, we have lost four classmates this last year. I don't know if you already know this.
They are Patsy Ann Wright (Childers) [see earlier newsletter], Janet Cronn, Tonya Bettencourt, and Barbara Miller....

...an added note, my Mom, who is still in Lodi, told me Jim Lynch an English teacher for many of us, passed away in December. I don't know if you ever had one of his classes, but he was infamous for the poems we had to learn.
