            • Arriving in McIntosh County in the spring of 1886 was John Rott and his family. He was born in 1849 in Glueckstal, South Russia, where he spent the early part of his life. He attended school there, receiving an average education. Later he was united in marriage to Friedricka Knodel.

            • ...And on to line 9113 of the same book:

            • Mrs. Rott died and in the fall of 1889 Mr. Rott married the second time, his wife being Caroline Koenig. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Berthold Matske of the Baptist church Note: "Esther only knew about Johann's second wife, Friedricka and what happened after they came to America when she wrote that articles. See Bob Schauer's letter.

            • Frredericka, nee Knodel, Schmierer, had a child Christian Schmierer b. 11 Oct 1877 Worms/ Od. He went under the name Christian Rott in the migr records on the steam ship Warra.  Evidently he died after a few years in the USA,  

            • Johann and Fredericka Rott sailed on the steam ship Warra in Nov 1884 to NY on 22 of Nov 1884.  The years listed for the children in these records are incorrect probably due to costing less money if they made the children younger.  They traveled to ND and Johann's half brother, August, signed as witness to America.
