<< Hello!
My name is Cecilie Nergaard Langeby, and I grew up at Langeby farm in the
town Sandefjord, Norway. I don't understand that this man Johan Johansen
has lived there as well. When I asked my grand father he told me that the
name my family had before we took the Langeby name was Olsen.
The map that describes where the farm's at is a match to where I grew up,
so I think this is a little bit strange?
If you please could clear this for me?

Langeby oeste Farm
|
JARH NOTE: There is Langeby and nearby is Langeby oeste, which
is about 6 miles from Sandefjord [See story].
I do not know if this was once one farm which was divided or if it
was always two farms. There was a Ole Engebretsen b. 1827 who was,
also, from Hurum and who had a son Johan Olsen b. 1855 in Hurum...... Are
they related? Johan's father was from Hurum where he was b. in 1847.
