They wre married 5 Oct 1903 Kloetitz/Bess.. She was b. 25 Nov 1879 poss. Friedenstal/Bess and was the dau. of John Draxell [Dresell] and Tina Ruff.

Sam & Ludwig Hein with wivesSamuel Hein [far left] with wife and Ludwig Hein with wife [nee Tumlert].  Sam and his wife migr. to Albert Canada and often visited my grandparents, Ludwig and Christina, nee Schweikert, Hein who lived in Lodi, CA. after 1942.  He and his family perished in an anuto accident while returning from a trip to Lodi.

His brothers were Carl, Gottfried, Benjamin, Daniel, Rheinhold, Leonard,  the only brother who remained in Russia, and Walter.  Their mother died when Walter was ten, abt. 1909.  Their father, Jacob Hein,  remarried.  A sister  and three brothers stayed in Dakota
