"...I am not currently in contact with anyone researching the Boschatzke line. I am trying to pin down my immediate relatives first before going down the branches of my aunts/uncles and their spouses. But every once in a while I get sidetracked when I see names that might connect... :-)

The only information I have to date on the Boschatzke/Hoeger line, comes from a Koblenz exodus questionnaire completed by my grand-uncle Andreas Bohlender at the Trebendorf camp on 13 February 1941.

Andreas was married to Berta Boschatzke (b. 7 July 1911 in Jakobstal). Berta's parents are listed as Wilhelm Boschatzke (b. 11 Aug 1879, Jakobstal) and Chrsitine Hille (b. 5 Oct 1886, Olgental). The questionnaire asks for the name and occupation of those who emigrated from Germany on both the husband and wife's side. On the wife's side, the questionnaire lists Johann Boschatzke (farmer) and Friedricka Hoeger. It indicates that they came through Poland and settled in Borodino, so there is a Boschatzke connection to Borodino.

Unfortunately, there are no dates listed as to when Johann and Friedricka settled there.
